JaMur is a medium coarse textured zoysiagrass primarily developed for use on high traffic, high visibility applications. JaMur is similar in appearance to a dwarf variety of St. Augustine, and has many of the same uses. It is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Due to the fact that JaMur spreads faster and we are able to harvest more frequently, the price is considerably less than zoysiagrasses of the past.
Characteristics: JaMur is compatible with a wide range of soil conditions, and is comparable to St. Augustine in shade tolerance, but better. In the past, Zoysias were considered to be very slow to spread and establish. JaMur is the fastest spreading Zoysiagrass on the market.
Compared to St. Augustine, JaMur is more cold, insect, disease, wear, and drought tolerance. At the same time, it is a much more aesthetically pleasing turf.
JaMur produces a very lush, dense turf with an attractive blue-green color. This density along with an extensive rhizome and root system gives JaMur excellent recovery characteristics.
The site should be watered heavily for at least two weeks to promote establishment. After the establishment period is over, keep a regular schedule of watering and mowing, and you will be extremely pleased with the quality of your turf.
Recommended mowing height, with a rotary mower is 2-3 inches.
Recommended annual fertilization rate is one to two pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. Use slit applications with one pound in the spring to encourage new growth and one pound in the mid-to-late summer to promote healthy growth into the fall and winter.

Zeon is a medium fine textured zoysiagrass primarily used for areas such as home lawns, sports fields and golf courses. It is also being used on high-end commercial sites.
Zeon would be the replacement grass for the old standard, Emerald zoysiagrass.
Characteristics: Zeon is compatible with a wide range of soil conditions. It can handle full sun or light to medium shade. It has good drought tolerance and very few insect or disease problems.
Compared to Emerald, Zeon has a faster rate of spread. Zeon does not produce the heavy layer of thatch associated with Emerald, which makes Zeon easier to care for.
Zeon has a deep green color and produces a very lush turf. If you are looking for a fine textured, dense turf with exceptional "eye appeal", Zeon is the grass for you.
The site should be watered heavily for at least two weeks to promote establishment. After the establishment period is over, keep a regular schedule of watering and mowing, and you will be extremely pleased with the quality of your turf.

D E N S I T Y - $160.00/pallet
Density is a fine textured buffalograss primarily developed for its superior turf quality, which allows for a faster, easier harvesting and planting. It is ideal for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Density produces a lush, dense turf. It has good green color. Density is a female buffalograss, but has some male flowers mixed in. Landscapers will enjoy a much stronger block than the buffalo-grasses of the past. Density also shows promise in higher humidity and rainfall areas.
Characteristics: Density is compatible with a wide range of soil conditions. In the past, buffalos were very thin and did not produce easily handled block sod. Density is not your typical buffalo. Expect an excellent, dense turf that holds well in a block and does not have weed invasion problems associated with other buffalograsses.
Installation & Maintenance: Density cannot be grown from seed. Therefore, it must be planted as plugs, sprigs, or sod. Sprig planting is recommended only for experienced landscapers. Plugs are preferred planting method for those of you who cannot solid sod your site. Solid sod is, by far, the best way to go. Water the grass as you lay it! Do not wait until the entire site is planted to water.
The entire sit should be water heavily for at least two weeks to promote establishment. After establishment period is over watering and mowing can be kept very minimal for a "native" look. A lush, manicured look may be achieved with increased water and maintenance.
Recommended mowing height with a rotary mower is two inches.
Recommended annual fertilization rate is one to two pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. Use split applications with one-pound of nitrogen in the spring to encourage new growth on one-pound of nitrogen in the mid-to-late summer to promote healthy growth into fall and winter.
